Bonus Question!!!!!

Win valuable prizes!!!!! Hey, that most awesome of holidays, Halloween, is almost here. One of the cool traditions of Halloween is carving pumpkins to make Jack-O-Lanterns. But people didn't always use pumpkins. What vegetable was used before pumpkins? Have your answer written down on a piece of paper when you arrive in class tomorrow.

Eclipse!

There will be a full lunar eclipse viewable in Portland this week. The eclipse will begin around 2:15 am Wednesday morning, reaching it's peak around 3:55 am, and will be all over at 5:30. The sky should be clear! No special equipment is needed, except maybe a camera!
